Desire

Pain graces life;

When it threads into the bosom, stillness prevails.

In the moon-lit night;

Romance hung in the air,

Pain ebbed like a river,

A silent scream left the eyes,

Heart writhed in agony,

Mind lost control,

Cold caressed the body,

Shiver ran down her spine,

Eyes greeted reality,

Pain became surreal to life,

Her heart whispered,

‘World plays, yet I stand back, for

Once I belonged only to not be a part of.’

A desire killed.
